McLaren pilot Lando Norris shared his opinion on how the 2022 season turned out for the team.


According to Norris, getting on the podium at the stage in Imola can be considered a success, but it is still not enough to consider the season a success.


A podium is always a significant achievement. The podium means something to me, to the team. But one podium is certainly not enough. When you have only one podium, there is a feeling that you just got lucky. And you want to feel that you deserve it, that you are able to constantly fight for a place on the podium.


Yes, of course, we deserved the podium, but were not fast enough to get there. We can say that we are a little ahead of events.


One podium is not enough for me. We didn`t do a good enough job, and again, in the end it all comes down to the capabilities of our machine. So we will continue to work hard - however, this is nothing new - said Norris.
