Famed Lakers center, now television pundit Shaquille O`Neal believes Anthony Davis should continue to lead the team after LeBron James returns.


LeBron has a lot of possession. Of course, when he is not there, the possessions are distributed among the other players and A. D. becomes the first option. We`ve been talking about this for the past two years. LeBron will remain LeBron, but A. D. has to demand the ball, shoot and not always give in to him.


When LeBron isn`t on the court, Davis is in charge. He asks and receives the ball, throws with a high percentage. His statistics speak for themselves. The question is whether he can do it with LeBron on the court, " O`Neal said.


James has missed the last five Lakers games. The team won three, and Davis had 30 points and 15 rebounds in four of those five games.
