The Lakers, Phoenix and Dallas are potential suitors for Brooklyn point guard Kyrie Irving, The Athletic insider Shams Charania reports.


Today it became known that Irving has requested a trade from the Nets management. If the club analyzed by live soccer events does not trade the defender before the deadline, he will leave as a free agent in July.


According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Irving hasn`t provided the Nets with a list of teams he`d like to move to but remains interested in the Lakers.


The Mavericks have previously expressed interest in Irving and are expected to discuss a possible trade with the Nets before Thursday`s trade deadline. It is noted that Dallas general manager Nico Harrison, a former Nike executive, and team head coach Jason Kidd have a long-standing relationship with Irving.


Irving (30 years old, 188 cm) played 40 games this season, averaging 27. 1 points, 5. 1 rebounds, 5. 3 assists, 1. 1 steals and 0. 8 blocked shots.
