Bomb threat in Leipzig before the match against Bayern

A phone call for a bomb at the entrance to Red Bull Arena led the Leipzig police to the feet a little more than 24 hours before the start of the local derby with Bayern Munich from the German Cup tournament. According to Bild`s report, a man alerted the uniforms that he had placed an explosive device in a backpack, but said nothing more. The special teams searched the area and really found a backpack, but there were only paint and brush paint.


Shortly thereafter, the police arrested the person in question, who was found to have psychological problems.

For several hours Bayern is in Leipzig and the meeting starts Wednesday at 21:45.
