Gerard Pique can resume his career.


The 35-year-old Spanish footballer, who retired in November 2022, plans to play for the Andorra club, which he owns, Relevo reports.


However, there are two obstacles. The first is Pique`s salary. Although the footballer announced his retirement, he is still considered a registered player with Barcelona, and his salary is about 20 million euros.


The second reason is that Andorra cannot pay Pique the minimum salary in the Spanish second division. This is possible, but this will have to be decided by a special La Liga commission.


Pique`s salary must be reviewed by the La Liga committee, which will determine whether Andorra can afford such a player.
