The Italian won the match in the first round in Stuttgart with a score of 7:6 (8), 5:7, 7:5. The meeting lasted 2 hours 55 minutes.


I have no energy left at all. The first match predicted by soccer live streams in several months - I was hoping for something easier (smiles).


I`m very happy with the way I fought on the court. I wasn`t playing at my highest level, but I didn`t expect more. After months of absence [from tournaments], it`s always hard to come back with a good game.


So I told myself: Just fight, be on our site and try to enjoy. I missed the clay season, so I`m very happy to come back and win.
